Payment and Refund Policy
How payment, withdrawal of subscription, and refunds work for paid goods. This policy is the detail behind Article 8 of the Terms of Service.
Published Effective
1. Scope and payment methods
This policy applies to purchases of paid goods made inside the Service. Payment goes through app market operators such as Google Play, and the Company does not store payment credentials.
Where an app market's own refund policy is more favourable to the user, that policy may apply as well.
2. Withdrawal of subscription
A user may withdraw a purchase within 7 days of payment or of receiving the goods, except in the following cases.
- Paid goods already used, or whose value is consumed immediately upon use
- Randomised items whose result has been determined by opening or use
- The used portion of a time-limited pass
- Goods supplied individually to the user's order, where withdrawal would cause the Company irrecoverable loss
3. Refund criteria
| Case | Criterion |
|---|---|
| Paid goods bought but not used | Full refund |
| Bundles partly used | Refund of the amount corresponding to the unused portion; a fee may be deducted to the extent the law allows. |
| Paid goods fully used | Refund restricted |
| Results obtained from randomised items | Refund restricted, except where a system error granted the wrong result, which is corrected or refunded. |
| Time-limited passes | Full refund before use begins; after it begins, the amount for the remaining period is refunded. |
| Duplicate charges or non-delivery caused by a system error | Full refund or correct delivery |
4. How to apply and how long it takes
- Request a refund from the order history in the app market, or apply through the Company's player support channel.
- Include the payment method, order number, and payment time so the transaction can be found quickly.
- The Company reports the outcome within three business days of receiving the request.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method; the money may take additional time to appear depending on that method.
5. Payments by minors
Where a minor pays without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or that representative may cancel the payment. Documents confirming the minor's status and the representative relationship are required.
Cancellation may be restricted where the minor paid with property their legal representative permitted them to dispose of, or used deception to appear to be an adult.
6. Restricted accounts and service closure
Paid goods in an account restricted for breaching the Terms are not refunded. If the restriction turns out to be unjustified, the account is restored immediately.
If the Company discontinues the Service, it announces this at least 30 days beforehand and refunds unused paid goods under applicable law and the Korean content user protection guidelines.
